On 11th & 12th January 2023, the 160th Birthday Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated as Vivekananda Jayanti & National Youth Day at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Khatkhati and it's Bokajan Town Unit.
Along with the Kendra's 'Padhati' the Inaugural program started at Bokajan Town Unit by the Lightening of lamp and Puspanjali by the Chief Guest Sri Dilip Gogoi, Retired Vice Principal, Vivekananda Higher Secondary School Bokajan and other guests as well as by Headmaster. After the welcome speech by Headmaster and speech on the importance of the program by Sri Omprakash Rai, VMC Member, the students of class IV and V presented drama on the theme "Tyag & Sewa". After drama presentation other important programs like poem recitation and bhajan by the students of class -I also attracted the participants. The valuable speech delivered by the Chief Guest, which covered the Swamiji's life. The total participates of the Day-1 program were 70 along with students, parents and well-wishers.
Day -2 program of Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day celebrated with great zeal at VKV Khatkhati Campus. The programs started at 11am according to Kendra's Paddhati and the Puspanjali to Swami Vivekananda and Bharat Mata. The opening song "Hey Vivekananda Swami" by the students of class -1 created beautiful environment which followed by the other cultural programs such as 'Adiwasi Dance by the students of Bokajan Town Unit'; Rhymes Dance by Nursery and KG students'; 'Tiwa Dance by the students of Class II, III & IV'; 'Group Dance by the students of class- I'; and finally after the Vote of thanks by the Headmaster of Vidyalaya, the "Bharat Mata Arti" chanted by all members of the Program. Total participants of the Day-2 program were 360.
